This program provides an incentive to businesses who contribute to education improvement organizations by providing tax credits in return for approved contributions. Up to 75% of the approved contribution can be recouped as a tax credit. For businesses making the same contribution for two successive years, the tax credit amount increases to 90%. These tax credits are applied directly to the business’ state tax liabilities.
