  • Berlin Brothersvalley, Meyersdale Area, and Rockwood Area School Districts Statement of Joint Cooperation

The Berlin Brothersvalley, Meyersdale Area, and Rockwood Area School Districts remain fully committed to providing the highest quality education to our students. We are proud of our current cooperative arrangements and the strong collaborative efforts with our current cooperative agreements.

At the same time, we recognize the challenges presented by declining enrollment and significant personnel and transportation constraints that impact our ability to sustain programs (both academically and athletically). As responsible members of our educational communities, every decision we make is based on factual analysis, not opinions, ensuring we are making the most informed and strategic steps forward.

Moving ahead, we will continue to work together in the best interest of our students and maintain our focus on academic excellence while addressing these challenges in a thoughtful and data-driven manner.

We appreciate the ongoing support of our students, families, and communities as we navigate these important conversations.  We will continue to evaluate, monitor, and work together in the best interests of our students.
