“What do we want our graduates to know, be able to do, and be like?”
This is a simple but powerful question as we prepare our students for life after graduation from the Berlin Brothersvalley School District. This question involves having a clear vision of what learning is required for students and an understanding of what will prepare them for an ever changing world of work and life in the future.
In addition, we need to think about how we judge the success of the school district through the successes of our students (now adults) who have used the learning tools provided in the Berlin Brothersvalley School District to live a productive and fulfilling life.
We selected a variety of people from the community to reflect on these questions and provide their perspective. Our interviewees include:
Mrs. Margie Zorn
Mr. Larry Philip
Mr. Justin VanGilder
Mr. Brian Slope
Mrs. Cathy Webreck
Senator Pat Stefano
Mr. Scott Etris
Thanks to our outstanding student videographers for their time and expertise in producing a quality work for our community. Creed Smith, Ryan Sell and Heather Thomas.
