  • Marching band students should check in with their 6th period teacher for attendance and then report to the band room to perform for the Volleyball send-off. Students will be in seventh period classes.

  • Due to Mountaineer Volleyball awesomeness, Musical Auditions for Tuesday November 13th are postponed to Monday November 19th from 6-8pm.  Auditions will be held Thursday November 15th as planned. Remember to sign up! (Mrs. Spiri)

  • Anyone interested in riding a fan bus sponsored by the Volleyball Boosters to the Volleyball Game on Tuesday to Big Spring High School should sign up in or call the high school office by noon on Tuesday.  The bus will depart from outside the locker rooms at 3:30 on Tuesday.  There is no cost to ride the bus, tickets are $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for students.

  • Winter sports athletes are reminded to turn in their physical or re-cert forms before practice begins on Friday, November 16th.  Papers can be turned in to the high school or middle school office or given to Mr. Prosser or your head coach.  Any athlete that does have their paperwork turned in will not be allowed to begin practice.

  • National Honor Society food drive will run through Monday, November 19 to benefit the Berlin Food Pantry.  Donations can be made in any classroom or main office.  Any non perishable food item will be collected, but baby food is not accepted.

  • The Berlin Brothersvalley School District Adult Walking Program will begin on November 5, 2018 and continue through March 28, 2019.  The purpose of this program is to allow adults to have a place to exercise by walking daily without having to brave the elements of Somerset County.

    Some basic rules have been implemented for the benefit of the walkers:

    1. Walking is permitted from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ONLY.
    2. Walking is permitted Monday through Thursday when school is in session.
    3. When students are on vacation, the school will not be open in the evening.
    4. Walkers are to enter the building at the main elementary entrance and sign the walkers’ registration book located inside the entrance each night.
    5. Children are not permitted to participate or accompany the adult.
