Mrs. Beth Hoover
I graduated from Meyersdale Area High School in 1990 and started my college education at Shippensburg University. I transferred to Frostburg University my sophomore year and graduated from there with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I also earned my master’s degree from Frostburg in Special Education. After graduation I gained employment at the Salisbury Family Center as a preschool teacher and Parents As Teachers home visitor. I substitute taught in public schools in Somerset County until I earned a position at Berlin as a first grade at-risk and learning support teacher. I have also taught kindergarten, second grade, and third grade where I am today! I am so excited to teach reading all day! Reading is my passion and it is my goal to give the love of reading to each and every one of my students!
