Hello ♥ Welcome to my page!  My name is Mrs. Richards and I teach Fourth Grade ELA.  This will be my second year as a full-time teacher at BBES.  Prior to getting my full-time position, I was a substitute teacher at BBSD for three years.

I was born and raised in Johnstown, and graduated from Westmont Hilltop School District in 2013.  From there, I attended the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education.  Upon graduating from UPJ in the fall of 2017, I began working for AmeriCorps - at Richland Elementary School - where I was an Educational Support Teacher.  Then, during the 2018 - 2019 school year, I began working here - at Berlin Brothersvalley School District - where I had the opportunity of being a day-to-day substitute teacher for students in kindergarten - twelfth grade.  BBSD is truly a wonderful district.  I have had so many great memories and experiences here, and I am very blessed to call this district my home.

I currently live in Berlin with my husband [Nathan] and two step-children [Carson & Olive].  I love spending time with my family and friends - as well as reading, watching movies, going for walks, cooking/baking, gardening, four-wheel riding, and listening to music.  I also LOVE learning, and I want to instill that same love of learning into my students.
