A bit about me

Brian Slope (Computer Science) is alumnus of Berlin Brothersvalley High School,  graduating in 1987.  His path led him to State College where he graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Secondary Education. His first teaching job was as an Earth Science and Oceanography teacher at Phoebus High School in Hampton, Virginia. After five and a half years he returned to his alma mater to teach computer science. He earned his M.S. in Education from Walden University and his K12 Principal Certification from California University of Pennsylvania. He earned another M.S.  this time in Information Technology from Southern New Hampshire University in 2017. He has been teaching computer programming since 1998 at the high school level beginning with Turbo Pascal and passing through Visual Basic, Java, HTML, and finally to LUA, which is used to develop mobile applications.
