As you are aware, we are all in unchartered territory with the closure of all schools in Pennsylvania due to the COVID-19 virus. We have been communicating with the State, surrounding counties and districts as well as our elected representatives as we seek clarification and guidance moving through these two weeks.
Our first order of business is to provide adequate nutrition for students in need over this period of time. Beginning on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, Berlin Brothersvalley School District will provide breakfast and lunch for any students who need food during this school closure. The meals will be available for pickup only, from 10 AM until 12 noon each weekday beginning Wednesday, March 18. The process for pickup will be to enter the middle school main doors, pick up the food in the middle school gym and exit the gym exterior doors.
We need to get an idea of how much food to prepare for pickup. If you wish to utilize this service, please call the district on Tuesday, March 17, on the main office line (267 – 4621) between the hours of 8 AM and 12 noon.
