Hello, my name is Mr. Christopher Uphouse. I am a social studies teacher at Berlin Brothersvalley Senior High. Welcome to my webpage.

I am a 1989 graduate of BBSD. I studied for my degree in secondary education at Penn State and Clarion Universities. I completed my degree at Clarion in 1993. I began working at Berlin as a substitute in 1999. I was hired full time by the district in 2001. I have been a member of the faculty in either the senior high  or middle school since that time. At the time I was hired I instructed computer science classes but gradually my schedule changed to become a full time social studies instructor. Currently, I teach grades 9,11, and 12, though I have worked with students from 5th grade to 12th grade in my time at Berlin. My interests outside of school include drawing, painting, salt water aquariums, fantasy literature, and military history.
