Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Kush

I began my education as a yellow jacket. I attended Fernale Area Schools for both elementary and high school. Ferndale schools are very similar in size to Berlin. I feel right at home!

I attended college at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, majoring in elementary education. I graduated from college in 2001 and began substitute teaching that same month for Greater Johnstown School District and Forest Hills School District.  In October of 2001 I began working full time for Genesis Christian Academy teaching first grade.  In 2002 I began substitute teaching at Berlin. After substitute teaching at Berlin for two years, I was hired as a full-time elementary teacher! While with the district I have taught first, second, and third grade. In 2016 I began teaching third grade! We are going to have a great year!

I live in Stoneycreek Township, at the peak of the Bald Knob summit. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, and I love visiting historical places. I have a cat named Little Shoog.
